Using Succulents

Using succulents is a trend that is becoming more and more popular in St. Louis. Succulents are small, star-shaped plants with plump, smooth leaves. You often see them in planters or sometimes in landscaping. They can be cut and used as a fresh green accent in bouquets and centerpieces. We love the texture that succulents can give to an arrangement. It is such a unique way to make a statement with your flowers.

Succulent Chandelier!

I have a huge love for succulents, so you can imagine my excitement when I found {this}! I can't wait for the day that I have a backyard to enjoy a DIY creation of my own like this :)

Set-up at St. Albans

This wedding and reception was this past October at St. Albans. These snapshots were taken by our staffer, Chelsea.

The reception was intimate and held in a tent with guest tables in a square with everyone facing in. The center tent pole was decorated to be a natural addition to the decor.





The backs of the chairs had a cluster of succulents.

The tables were lined with small arrangements of roses and green succulents.

These large arrangements of bright oranges and purples decorated each corner of the square table.

An orange rose was placed at each seat.

Lounge areas were set up for the guests to enjoy. The seating was provided by Exclusive Events, Inc.

Purple dendrobium orchids were added to this cake by The Cakery.

This lush flower arrangement decorated a memorial table at the ceremony.
