Yellow and Coral -- Part 2

Here they are--as promised!! These shots are taken by Clary Photo of Melissa and Patrick's July 4th wedding in St. Charles. Take a look!!

As mentioned in the last blog, the bridal bouquet was a mix of coral roses with rhinestone accents surrounded by bright yellow freesia.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were the same flowers as the bridal bouquet, but the freesia was mixed in with the roses.

The flower girls even had a mini bouquet to carry down the aisle.

Melissa and Patrick's reception was held at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles.

Some of the tables had these garden-y ginger gars filled with yellow and coral roses, spray roses, gerbers, and filler.






The other tables had these tall vases with the same flowers.

Yellow and Coral -- Part 1

Melissa and Patrick were married on 7-4-09 in St. Charles. Melissa loved the idea of having coral and yellow flowers at her wedding. Here are some snapshots of the day that we took while delivering the flowers.

The bridal bouquet was a combination of coral roses with rhinestone accents and bright yellow freesia around the outside.

Anything this beautiful bride carried would have been gorgeous!! She loved the yellow and coral!







Here are some shots of the decorations we did inside St. Cletus Church in St. Charles. We tied small clusters of yellow and coral gerbers to the pews to line the aisle.














We also brought altar vases in the wedding flowers and colors, as well as a unity piece with candles.

Professional Shots from Lace

Here are some beautiful professional shots, courtesy of Lace, of the wedding we blogged about earlier with the stacked bridal bouquet. This wedding was held at one of our favorite locations, Cafe DeMenil.

Stacked bouquet

This style of bouquet is very unique. It's an example of a stacked bouquet that uses different types of flowers in layers instead of mixed together. This was a bridal bouquet that we did in April.

The top layer is mini callas, the second layer is ivory roses, and the third layer is mini gerbera daisies.



Stacked bouquets usually have a more linear shape verses a rounded shape like most bouquets.

This is what the bridesmaid carried. It was a mixed, round version of what the bride carried in similar flowers and colors. The stacked bouquet gave the bride something that would really stand out, while the bridesmaid had something more traditional.
