Embellishments Around Your Bouquet

These bouquets have unique embellishments around the outside of the flowers. It's a great way to do something a little different to make a statement.

This lush, mixed, all white bouquet has variegated hosta leaves around the edge for little extra color and contrast.
These two bouquets have feathers around the edge- one all white with white feathers and one all green with red feathers. The bouquet with white feathers also has small crystals within the flowers.

There are so many ways to embellish a bouquet!!

Pride and Prejudice Photo Shoot by Anne Sage

An Andalucian Wedding at Puente Romano Hotel

Laura and Fred chose the Puente Romano Hotel as their wedding venue, to capture their dream day of an Andalucian wedding.
Both of them have parents that own holiday homes in Andalucia and they wanted to capture the charm of the white washed villages complete with geranium clad walls and terracotta tiles. The Puente Romano along with it's 5 star service and food and the beautifully established gardens made this venue the perfect location for their dream day.
The La Virginia Church, just 5 minutes drive away and set in a breathtaking Andalucian village setting was the perfect location for their ceremony.
Having booked the church and the venue, Laura and Fred needed to finish off all the details, decorations, music, cars and someone to be there to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. We took over!!!
The wedding theme was pulled together using the hot pinks of the fabulous bouganvilla that grows here in Spain with a slight, but not overkill of a butterfly theme. Laura chose favour boxes for her guests in a butterfly filigree detail to bring in a slight element of lace detail that was also on her fabulous dress.
Carla, our coordinator, as always amazingly efficient and charming and filled in all the gaps organising the final details for Laura and Fred and holding their hands throughout the day to make sure it all ran smoothly, Laura has since said she wished Carla had been there from day one!
A wonderful day with superb service from Puente Romano, and many happy guests commenting on how fabulous it all was.
I would like to give credit to Loraine for the amazing flowers, Susana for dressing this so beautifully for me and Carla for just yet again being so efficient and organised! I have a dedicated team behind me that are able to pull together such wonderful occasions and they are always acknowledged.
Our thanks to Jennifer Jane, an associate of Jeremy Standley, for these beautiful photographs, without our photographers to capture the day our work would be long forgotten!

Moroccan Nights in Marbella

Must have Parasols to rent for Weddings and Parties

Magical Moroccan Night at Puente Romano Hotel

We had a fabulous time decorating this Moroccan party at the beautiful Puente Romano hotel. One of my favorite venues here in Marbella.
This party was the start of a 3 day event last weekend to welcome guests for a wedding weekend to the Marbella Club.
It was quite short notice, about 3 days! but we managed to pull it off, only just though as we had another 100 chairs added in on the day so a quick visit to the shops to finish this off, thankfully the rain held off although the following day on the 3rd July here it rained?
We were allowed in to photograph this before the guests arrived but I did get a phone call at 11.30 that night from one of the suppliers to tell me how fabulous and beautiful it looked once it had got dark, we are hoping we may get a few photos of this in darkness as I had some fabulous lighting and millions of candles here.
Our thanks to the forever cheerful and patient Jennifer Jane from Jeremy Standley for coming along again to photograph one of our events, always with a last minute panicked request from me!
My thanks also to my brilliant team, Izzi and Maddie my long suffering daughters, Susana that has now worked with me for 3 years and our new team member Anoulka, without these fabulous ladies I could never pull off an event like this and thank them for their hard work, reliability and tireless efforts. Also to Carlos from Lipara Productions, a lovely man I work closely with all the time, without Carlos there would be no staging, lighting and sound!

Melissa loves yellow!

Our bride, Melissa, loved yellow! Her bridal bouquet was a mix of yellow and white and her bridesmaids had all yellow gerber daisy bouquets. If you love a color, use it!!!

Add pearls for texture

This is an example of how pearl strands (imitation, of course) can add texture and interest to your centerpieces. These all white arrangements have an added flair when pearls are draped from the vase of flowers. Think outside the box!
