Lovely Winter White

The design of this winter wedding was a lot of fun! Touches of winter flowers and greenery made everything come together for the season. Take a look at our pre-delivery snapshots.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were a winter flower called amaryllis with cedar and holly to accent.

The traditional bridal bouquet was cascade style with roses, mini callas, dendrobium orchids, stephanotis, crystals and winter greens.

Our very own Chelsea makes a great model! :)

We really enjoyed creating these classic winter white bouquets!

Love Story of Amina & Phillip

It was a joy working with such a charismatic couple in love! Amina and Phillip were married Oct. 23 at Christ Church Cathedral and celebrated with a reception at the Four Seasons. We worked closely with Lacy Branch Events who coordinated the design for the day. These phenomenal shots of the event are by Bobbi Brinkman Photography.

At the reception, we decorated with three different arrangements for the guest tables-one submerged with orchids and floating candles, one sort and lush arrangement with hanging amaranthus, one tall with orchids and hanging crystals.

Heartfelt wishes to Amina and Phillip for a life full of happiness together!

Embellishments Around Your Bouquet

These bouquets have unique embellishments around the outside of the flowers. It's a great way to do something a little different to make a statement.

This lush, mixed, all white bouquet has variegated hosta leaves around the edge for little extra color and contrast.
These two bouquets have feathers around the edge- one all white with white feathers and one all green with red feathers. The bouquet with white feathers also has small crystals within the flowers.

There are so many ways to embellish a bouquet!!

Crystal Moss Tree

Many of you have seen our black wrought iron trees with hanging crystals and votives. We have rented and decorated them for several events. We have blogged many times about the very different ways these trees can be used for each individual event. This moss version of the crystal tree is one of our new favorites. We decorated this one for the Busch Stadium wedding show that we recently attended. All the natural elements we used gave this "enchanted" tree an organic yet eclectic look.

We added curly willow branches to the black metal of the tree to soften the base. We added reindeer moss balls to the branches in addition to the hanging crystal and votives. Spanish moss was also used to hang from the branches to add another natural dimension.

The base of the tree was built up with four different types of moss, lotus pods, green orchids and river rock. Satellite cube vases of the river rock and green orchids accented the tree trunk.

This is just one of the MANY ways these trees can be used. Meet with Sisters to discuss this design or another creative look for your event!

Sisters Wedding Show Booth

Emily, Shelly and Chelsea had a great time at the Busch Stadium Wedding Show this past Sunday. Here are some snapshots of our booth. As always, our brilliant in-house photographer, Chelsea, took these great shots!

We took three bouquets inspired by our colorful design boards. We also set up our Crystal Moss Tree to show off a different "enchanted" look for our rental trees.

We did a variety of colors and textures for our show bouquets. We were even able to include some spring and summer flowers like tulips, peonies, and iris!

This version of our crystal trees included hanging moss balls, hanging Spanish moss, and a lush moss base with green orchids. It was moss-some! (Look for more detailed shots in a blog coming soon!)

Shelly and Chelsea are ready to talk to some brides!!

It was a great show with tip-top vendors. We had a lot of fun and even let our hair down a little in the photo booth provided by Photobooth STL. Take a look!

Electric Purple, Fuchsia, and Red

Chrissy and Dave were married this past month at St. George in Afton and had an impressive and beautiful reception at the Electricians Hall. We worked on this wedding with Lacy Branch Events. Lacy and her staff worked seamlessly with the hall and all the vendors to transform the reception space! Take a peek at some of the day's highlights! (Photos by Von Devore Photography.)

The beautiful bride and the charismatic Lacy Branch!

All of the personal flowers were a mix of royal purples, red, and fuchsia. They included roses, gerber daisies, spray roses, hydrangea, and little flower crystals. These bouquets really spotlighted the bride and blended well with the bridesmaids' dresses.

The reception design used the purples, reds, and pinks differently for the tables. Here, the colors were separated-- reds and pinks together, and the purples and lavenders paired.

Some of the centerpieces were taller arrangements in cylinders and others were long and low rectangles and squares.

Lighting was an important element in the hall, so every low centerpiece was illuminated with LEDs to make the tables glow.

The cake was topped with a few gerbers on each layer, but the backdrop of lighting and fabric really made all the difference!

Special thanks to Lacy Branch Events for coordinating this event! As always, we had fun working with you!
Best wishes to Chrissy and Dave and their families!!
