Red Carnation Sphere

Here is a snapshot of a giant sphere of dark red carnations that was used on a placecard table. The bride brought us this candle holder and wanted to add red flowers to it for a big statement in the pre-function area for her reception. Over 100 carnations were used to make this tightly packed ball. It measured approximately 24" wide and 20" tall. We later added candles to the holder for the reception.

Professional Shots of Vibrant Reds

Here are some professional shots of a wedding we blogged about earlier this year that used vibrant red and white as the color scheme. The photos are from Azzara Photography.

The bride carried a cascading bouquet, white the bridesmaids had round, hand-tied bouquets.

Here is another example of the Mother of the bride carrying a few flowers rather than wearing a corsage.

We decorated our chuppah for their ceremony.

Half of the tables in the reception room had these cube vases of red flowers.

The other half of the tables had these large pilsner vases with curly willow and gerber daisies.

We filled in between the layers of the cake with red carnations to add the red color to the beautiful cake.

Thanks to the bride, groom, and their families for including us in their special day!

White Flower Hedge and Carnation Spheres

This was a very unique wedding reception at Maryland Walk in Clayton. The bride came to us with a vision of a flower hedge for the head table and round carnation spheres for the bar. Here is what we arranged for the event.

The ten foot flower hedge lined the table and made a great arrangement for the head table.

Gerber daisies, hydrangeas, roses, carnations, and spray roses were all included in this flower piece.

The guest tables were accented with rectangle vases filled with tall calla lilies.

The all white flower scheme worked well in this space with the bright pattered linens on the tables.

These large carnation spheres decorated the bar. The vases were filled with the bride's gumballs.

These arrangements stood over three feet tall with the 14-16 inch round spheres of carnations.

We had a great time working on this event! Special thanks to the bride and groom for having us be a part of their special day!
