Beach Style Wedding Inspiration

As I have been scanning the internet yet again for inspirations for our own photography shoots, I have yet again stumbled across yet another hugely talented and creative blog, Designs by Hemingway. I found this wonderful beach theme with this fabulous colour scheme and to die for table setting, if only my local Spanish chiringuito looked like this I would be in heaven!

Red and white wedding inspiration

A few of our brides this year are having a red and white theme for their wedding and we have been working on this colour scheme with various styles and inspiration boards to reflect these different variations.

Combine red roses with diamante and tall martinis for a more glamorous, smart black tie affair. Red roses, of course being the flower of love! Packed tightly into martinis or low table arrangements are stunning just as one single rose in a vase.

Flowers that work well with this smart, elegant scheme are white cala lilies and red roses,
a fabulous floral combination for the stylish sophisticated wedding.
We have also been creating another red and white wedding beach theme using red anthuriums and white orchids, a different and more tropical combination. But again two fabulous flowers that as a combo work really well together.

Warm this up with a few oranges or striking greens and you completely change the look.

Reds and whites of course are also a hugely popular colour choice for the chill out look, which of course if you are planning a chill out style for your wedding, will combine really rather well.

Finish this off with a themed cocktail such as one of my favourites, Strawberry Daquiri and you have a party in the making!

Spring pastels and ribbons

We love this spring pastel wedding found on Ritzy Bee typepad, with such cute and dainty accessories and all the wonderful details that for me, personally, make a wedding or party truly individual.
From the pastel bunting to the beautifully created cakes, the bubbles for the flower girls and the note cards, I am in heaven :)!

The wedding of Lori and Michael was last November. They chose bright colors to add interest to their fun day! Take a look!

Lori's bouquet was a very vintage-inspired bouquet. It included all whites and ivories with a touch of greens. The highlight of the whole design is the feathery Queen Anne's lace.

Emily gets the guys ready!

The intimate reception was held at Luciano's. All the tables were decorated with vibrant color.

Short, round arrangements of hydrangea, stock, dahlias, and roses really brightened up the guest tables.

This tall piece decorated the buffet table. It had all the wedding colors and flowers and also included tall curly willow branches.
Best wishes to the bride and groom!

Contemporary Meets Arts & Crafts

I adore much of the architectural style that came out of Arts & Crafts movement/Craftsman style homes. I am loving the way {this} 1920's craftsman style has been transformed, while still keeping much of the original character. The high-end modern furniture and chic handmade decorative accents have put a whole new spin on Arts & Crafts.

Binder Clips ~ Cable Organizer!

This is genius! Why go out and spend money on cable organizers when you can just do this?! Found on {Apartment Therapy} .
