Bright and Fresh

This wedding had such a refreshing seasonal feel for early summer. Crisp whites, yellows and greens were the main colors.

These bouquets, in the window at the church, were what the bridesmaids carried. The bridal bouquet- held below by a bridesmaid- had the same flowers but with added green cymbidium orchids.

We think all of our brides are gorgeous!

The guys' bouts. were a mix of green hypericum berries and yellow solidago.

The centerpieces at the City Museum were a mix of high and low arrangements. The tall vases included hanging votives that added an extra ambiance once the lights were dimmed.

Yellow, Blue, and Books

October was a busy month at Sisters. This wedding was a highlight for us. Jazzy and Brian were married on October 10th. They had their ceremony at the Jewel Box and their reception at the City Museum. Here are some awesome detail shots from Burns Photography.

Jazzy's bouquet was blue and white--hydrangeas, roses, and a dragonfly pin.

Yellow was the accent color used in the bridesmaids' bouquets and on the chuppah.

The guys all had mini calla bouts.--white for the groom and yellow for the groomsmen.

Our chuppah at the Jewel Box.

The head table was lined with yellow and white flowers over the blue table runners.

Tall and short centerpieces decorated the guest tables.

And here's where the books come in.....various yellow books were stacked underneath blue cubes of yellow flowers on some of the guest tables.

Tall spheres of blue and white flowers topped trumpet vases on the opposite guest tables.

Yellow and white flowers accompanied this bright cake.
Special thanks to Shayna of St. Louis Wedding Consultants for coordinating this bright and unique event!!
Best wishes to Jazzy and Brian for a wonderful first year together and many more to come!

Red and Black at the City Museum

Becky and Jeff were married and had a party to celebrate all at the City Museum. They had a very contemporary color scheme using red and black. These great shots of the ceremony are from Zettl Photography.

Becky's bouquet was a gorgeous, lush mix of deep red roses and red mini callas. The bridesmaids bouquets complimented with the contemporary-looking red callas.

The groom wore a red calla bout. to match his bride.

Here are some snapshots that Sisters Flowers took of the set-up. All the tables had black cubes vases filled with mixed shades of red flowers.

The aisle was lined with clusters of dark red roses tied onto the chairs.

This cake was decorated with a topper and flower clusters of dark red roses.

Thanks to Zettl Photography for the great personal shots.
Best wishes to Becky and Jeff!

Hot Pink and Black Wedding

Here's a color palette that really made a statement! Rochelle and Kevin got married this past July. We really played up the hot summer colors and made all the flowers real focal points for the event.

(All of these gorgeous photos were provided by Lace.)

The bridal bouquet was all hot pinks: hydrangea, mini gerbers, roses, spray roses, and freesia.

The bridesmaids' flowers were the same as the bride's, just smaller and without the hydrangea.

The decor for the ceremony reflected the bright color used in the personal flowers.

These little cuties carried ivory spray rose kissing balls down the aisle.

The sharp-looking wedding party.

The reception was at the City Museum. We used some tall and some short arrangements to help bring more variety to the tables.

The tall arrangements were black eiffel vases with pink balls of gerbers, roses, and waxflower filler on top.

The short arrangements were black cube vases filled with pink hydrangea, gerbers, roses, spray roses, and variegated greenery.

Even the cake needs a little pink sometimes!! (Cake by Hank's Cheesecakes)

Special thanks to Patti from All Dressed in White for helping coordinate another successful event! As always, best wishes to the bride and groom for many happy years together!!
