Wedding at FK Event Space

This new event space down town is a blank slate when it comes to decor. Here is how one of our clients used it for their ceremony this past February.

(Snapshots by Chelsea!)

The ceremony decor included our uncovered canopy and two small tables with our crystal trees to frame the bride and groom.

These pics are of our set-up. We used the event space's freight elevator to transport our materials to the ceremony and reception rooms.

Going up, Chelsea!?!

The flowers were a mix of all reds. Calla lilies, roses, and dahlias were used in the bridal bouquet. The same red color scheme was used in the bridesmaids' bouquets and at the reception.

Crystal Moss Tree

Many of you have seen our black wrought iron trees with hanging crystals and votives. We have rented and decorated them for several events. We have blogged many times about the very different ways these trees can be used for each individual event. This moss version of the crystal tree is one of our new favorites. We decorated this one for the Busch Stadium wedding show that we recently attended. All the natural elements we used gave this "enchanted" tree an organic yet eclectic look.

We added curly willow branches to the black metal of the tree to soften the base. We added reindeer moss balls to the branches in addition to the hanging crystal and votives. Spanish moss was also used to hang from the branches to add another natural dimension.

The base of the tree was built up with four different types of moss, lotus pods, green orchids and river rock. Satellite cube vases of the river rock and green orchids accented the tree trunk.

This is just one of the MANY ways these trees can be used. Meet with Sisters to discuss this design or another creative look for your event!

Sisters Wedding Show Booth

Emily, Shelly and Chelsea had a great time at the Busch Stadium Wedding Show this past Sunday. Here are some snapshots of our booth. As always, our brilliant in-house photographer, Chelsea, took these great shots!

We took three bouquets inspired by our colorful design boards. We also set up our Crystal Moss Tree to show off a different "enchanted" look for our rental trees.

We did a variety of colors and textures for our show bouquets. We were even able to include some spring and summer flowers like tulips, peonies, and iris!

This version of our crystal trees included hanging moss balls, hanging Spanish moss, and a lush moss base with green orchids. It was moss-some! (Look for more detailed shots in a blog coming soon!)

Shelly and Chelsea are ready to talk to some brides!!

It was a great show with tip-top vendors. We had a lot of fun and even let our hair down a little in the photo booth provided by Photobooth STL. Take a look!

Ceremony and Reception at Soulard Preservation Hall

Here is a unique way to use flowers for a ceremony and reception all in one location. Our clients for this event double-used ceremony and guest table flowers to decorate their space. The room was used for the ceremony and then turned over for the reception.

Cube vases filled with white hydrangea lined the stage for the ceremony. Afterwards, they were used for all the guest table decorations.

Julep cups with white hydrangea decorated the chairs at the ceremony and were later used to decorate the reception as well.

Our tall metal trees were set up on the stage to frame the bride and groom for the ceremony. They were left up for the reception and provided decoration in the room.
This was an excellent example of how flowers can be utilized fully at an event. It just takes planning and design work to make it happen seamlessly!

Halloween Wedding at City Museum

This wedding had more than just venues and seasons to consider with it's design. The celebration of Jen and Jon's Halloween nuptials was the seamless collaboration of very different elements to result in one amazing event, all coordinated by Lacy Branch Events. The bride wanted the reception to reflect the special "holiday" without being too over the top. Purples, whites, and black were the colors chosen to make this event very chic and interesting. Special thanks to Von Devore for these awesome shots of our flowers in the Architectural Hall at the City Museum.

The guest tables had three different designs......

Some of the tables had this pilsner vase of white callas and curly willow.

The second table design has a taller pilsner vase filled with curly willow and white dendrobium orchids at the base.

The third guest table arrangements were "cluster" tables with our 6ft. metal trees standing tall. The trees were decorated with hanging votives and curly willow branches.

Our metal trees were also used in the entry of the reception as placecard holders.

The guests' names and table numbers were hung on little cards from the branches of the tree.

The cocktail tables were decorated with little cube vases of purple mums.

The following are a few snapshots of the personal flowers and ceremony decor.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were lush white hydrangea with dark purple scabiosa. The bride carried all dark purple mini callas.

We covered our wooden canopy frame with curly willow branches and white fillers for the ceremony at Graham Chapel. The end result was a gorgeous frame for the bride and groom!

All our best to the bride and groom!!

Reception Set-up at Lumen

This was a unique set-up that we did Labor Day weekend at Lumen. This reception had a winter-y theme with our metal trees, white branches, and hanging votives and crystals. Chelsea, our in-house photographer, took these shots of the reception set-up that day.
The room had an unusual layout. The guests and wedding party sat at one U-shaped table the circled the room.

We placed our trees evenly spaced out among the guests' seats.

Our WONDERFUL staff of four "Sisters" set-up nine- 6 foot trees, hanging votives, crystals, branches, and all!

Each place setting had a single white cymbidium orchid for the lucky guest.

The lounge area upstairs had these calla and dendrobium arrangements draped with crystals.

This was a big set-up, but an awesome finished product. Thanks to the BEST Sisters Staff in the world!!
